1. The information we collect
When you use our contact form
If you get in touch through our enquiry form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (if provided)
- Your company or organisation (if provided)
- Your event date (if provided)
- The details of your event or enquiry
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, discuss your event, and provide our services. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests (responding to enquiries you have chosen to send us) and, where we go on to work together, performance of a contract.
When you join our mailing list
You can join our mailing list in two ways: by ticking the optional box on our contact form, or by signing up through the newsletter form on our website. In both cases we collect your name and email address, and we will only add you to the list if you have actively opted in.
We use this information to send you occasional news about Revudeville — shows, events and announcements. Our lawful basis is consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us at [email protected]. Unsubscribing is immediate and free.
When you browse our website
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are most popular and how people find us. This involves cookies (see section 5) and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.
Analytics cookies are only set with your consent, which we ask for through our cookie banner when you first visit the site. Our lawful basis is consent.
2. How we store your information and who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our website and communications, who process data on our behalf:
- Mailjet — to manage our mailing list and send newsletters
- Hostinger — to host our website and process form submissions
- Google — to provide Google Analytics
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. How long we keep your information
- Enquiries: we keep enquiry details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, if you become a client, for the duration of our work together plus 6 years for our business and legal records.
- Mailing list: we keep your details until you unsubscribe, after which you are removed from the list.
- Analytics data: retained in line with our Google Analytics settings, currently 14 months.
4. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your information (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to our processing of your information
- Data portability — receive your information in a usable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is our lawful basis
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
